This was taken 2 years ago at WW2 weekend.
As soon as Buck saw my little brother he started smiling and waving at him, so we sat him on the table. Buck shook his hand, talked to him for a little bit, & made faces at him. It was adorable. Buck was really sweet to everyone, and was by far the happiest of all the veterans. I knew it had to get old sitting in 90 degree weather & signing endless things. He was such a good sport and just kept on smiling.

I know I didn’t really know him, but it still saddens me to know he’s gone.
